USATF Michigan

USATF Michigan is one of the fifty seven local associations of USA Track & Field. The mission of USATF Michigan is to foster sustained competitive excellence, interest, and participation in the sports of track and field, long-distance running and race walking in the state of Michigan. We offer programs and championships throughout the year and provide valuable information and services to our members, clubs and sanctioned events.

2009 USATF Region V Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships

Date: Saturday, November 21st, 2009
Location:
     Masterson Station Park
     3051 Leestown Rd, Lexington, Kentucky

The top 25 individuals and top 3 teams from the Michigan Association Championships on November 14th are eligible to compete in the Region V meet. All entry forms for the Region V meet must be submitted during the Michigan Association Championship.

USATF Michigan Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships
and
USATF Michigan Association Open/Masters Cross Country Championships

Entries are now being accepted for the USATF Michigan Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships and the USATF Michigan Association Open/Masters Cross Country Championships.

Date: Saturday, November 14th, 2009
Location: Cass Benton Park, Northville, MI

The Open/Masters Championship is scheduled for 9:00am. The entry fee for Open/Masters athletes is $18.

The Junior Olympic Championship begins at 10:00am with the Bantam Girl's 3K race and concludes with the Young Men's 5K race at 2:30pm. The entry fee for Youth athletes is $6 if your entry is postmarked by November 11, 2009. The entry fee for entries postmarked after November 11th and day-of-event entries is $12.

All athletes MUST be USATF members.

Kendall Baisden - Gold Medal in the 100 Meter Dash
Kendall Baisden - Gold Medal in the 200 Meter Dash, smashing the old National Youth record of 23.81 with a time of 23.69.
Hannah Saul - Silver Medal in the Pole Vault
Kendal Baisden, Nicole Lynch, Mallory Wilberding, Aubrey Wilberding - Bronze Medal in the 4x400 Meter Relay
