Indoor Season has begun and it's a chilly one, remember to dress warm: The 2007 indoor Open/Masters Championship will be held Sunday March 3, 2007 at Eastern Michigan. The information is located on the website under Open/Master Meet entry form. The 2007 Youth Association Outdoor Championships will be held June 23, 2007 at Plymouth Canton Educational Park, check website for information www.michigan.usatf.org Regional is July 12-15 Location pending. Nationals will be July 24-29, 2007 in Mt. San Antonio College - Walnut, Calif. Information for this meet can be found at www.usatf.org under youth then nationals. The website has gone through a drastic change and it is easier for you to locate vital information. All files are accessible through using Acrobat for PDF files. I will continue with the online entry set up for the 2007 Michigan USATF Association Youth Outdoor - Cross Country Championships. The site will be http://www.coacho.com/meet/entry/il_adkinstrak/. While registering online is great I will still need you to print the Official Entry Form and forward to me. This form is the document that will follow your athlete on to Regional and Nationals. Make sure you fill out completely. Reminder: Background Checks are a requirement for all Club Memberships applications can be found online or I can email you one. Forward all emails to jdevose@aol.com. Late Fee For Club Membership Renewals Received After May 1 Clubs are reminded that starting this year a $100 + $55 late fee will be charged if your club’s membership is not renewed prior to May 1. This late fee only applies to renewing competitive clubs. Organizational memberships (event organizers, timing companies, corporations, etc.) and clubs who do not have athletes representing the club in sanctioned competitions are exempt from this late fee but still encouraged to renew their membership now. The late fee is in addition to the annual club membership fee. If you have not renewed your club membership please visit www.usatf.org/clubs/application/download/ and download a club application today. If you have any suggestion for the website please send to me as soon as possible. I am looking for pictures and stories about your athlete’s progress, achievements, or something that is of interest to the rest of the Track and Field community. I will be adding all sanctioned event on the 2nd Sunday of every month so please make sure that you get your event sanction in at least 2 months prior to your event.
